Bee-utiful Projects and Currently Feb.

Check out my new, super cute sidebars!  Alicia from Dreamlike Magic just did them for me, as I was typing this post actually :)  Aaaand, I changed my name!!  Read through this post, and you will see :)

Today I decided I needed to take down my penguins
{idea from this pin}
and replace them with my Valentine's Day bees immediately:
{I swear the one with the hair somehow looks like the cutie who made him!}
I didn't have the printout of the "Bee Mine" words on me, so I just had my kiddos write the words in.  I gave them extra pointy crayons and told them to use their neatest handwriting!!  I think they ended up looking adorable! :)

And it's that time again... Farley has posted her Currently Linky Party!!
Last year I baked my aide a pink birthday cake, decorated her desk, and had my students make her a pretty card.  She was *so* happy!  She does a lot for me everyday, it's the least that I can do.

I'm wondering, do you have classroom aides?

Love the crafts! I'm currently a teacher in waiting but work as an assistant in two different first grade classes. The kindergarten assistants get to stay in one classroom though.

Have I seen a picture of kitty yet?? Please share! I have an aide for reading support in the afternoon 30 minutes each day and then another aide for 30 minutes twice a week. How nice would it be to have an aide the whole time?!?

I love the new little additions to your blog :)
I thought I was lucky to have an aide for about 40 minutes during the day. We share her between all three 1st grades and the Pre-K class.

I {sort of} have an aide ~ does that make sense? In our teacher contract she's supposed to be with us for an hour a day, but she's also used as a rover when other teachers are out :(
