Hello, Cupcakes!!  I'm popping in today to share a fun freebie with you for the New Year!!

It's a cute little hat!

This craftivity will be the perfect way to welcome the New Year with your kiddos… and ease back into the school routine after a wonderful holiday break!

To grab a copy, head on over to my TpT shop!  I'd love to hear from you here or there-- let me know what you think!  I hope you love it!
I'm joining my girls Michelle and Mel D. for an Elf in the Classroom Linky Party!  How fun!  Our little elf friend made his debut on Tuesday {because Santa forgot to send him on Monday}, bearing a festively packaged gift:

All you need is some red fadeless paper, a little glitter, and a tag {Cara and Maria have great ones!} to wrap up the Elf on the Shelf book, and your kiddos will be WOWED!

Here's where we found our elf-- JINGLE -- throughout the week… on our lantern:

Jingle had a little accident when he was on the lantern.  I opened up the closet door and hit the sky wire, knocking down ALL the lanterns, AND Jingle!  Luckily, I did it when the students were out of the room :)

He covered himself in stickers:

And he sent the kids a silent reminder to behave…:

At the end of the week, we did a little elf crafting, in Jingle's honor!

My little ones pretended that they were elves, and wrote about what they would do:

"I would live in the North Pole.  I will sleep in a sleigh."

"I would go to school to see if kids are naughty or nice."

"I would sleep with Santa.  I would play with Mrs. Claus.  I would make some toys."

"I would sneak around for money.  I would fly around."

"I will drink milk with Mrs. Claus.  I will also build toys for kids."

My firsties had a BLAST making their own elves and imagining what they would do!  If you want to elf yourself and your kiddos, check out my Elf Magic craftivity pack!

Who knows what elf antics Jingle {and my kiddos!} will be up to this week!

To get more fun elf ideas, be sure to check out the Elf in the Classroom Linky Party!
I'm here, I'm here!  Just in the nick of time… with a NEW craftivity before the BIG sale!!

I drew up this little guy a.long.time.ago. and finally put it all together!  I guess you could say I've been on a little break.  But never mind that, I'm here now!  Let's take a closer look :)

Write ALL about polar bears, and create a cute crafty to go with your writing:

Or, imagine that YOU {err, your students} had a polar pal:

Of course, I've also included a few fun {and educational!} printables, like these:

Happy Shopping!!
Hello everyone!  I am stopping by today to share some turkey pictures :)

Last week we had a short week {2.5 days!} so instead of focusing on a reading story, I decided to do a little thankful unit with my kiddos.  I started off by reading the story Thanks for Thanksgiving, which is one of my favorite November reads!

Then, as a class we brainstormed aaaall the things that we are thankful for.  After our class brainstorm, I gave my kiddos a bubble map and asked them to choose their top six:

I wish I took a pic of the completed printables, but I forgot :/  Anywho, after bubbling, my class wrote a few sentences about what they are thankful for, and why.  Then we framed our final copies with some silly turkeys!  {I spotted these turkeys on good ol' Google images years ago and I have no idea where they come from… sorry!}

Forget the rest, this little one is thankful for me! ::blush::

This sweetie is thankful for her home, among other things :)

And this firstie is thankful for lots… including his job!  Unless he's working late hours after school, my guess is he's talking about our classroom jobs!

The Give Thanks bubble map and writing paper are from my Just Print It!  November pack.  There are a bunch of fun printables included… if you want to learn more, it's up in my store!

So that was last week!  This week we did some more decorating, and made the turkeys from my Thankful Turkeys craftivity pack.

We didn't do any writing with these little guys {shh, don't tell anyone!}, but the unit does come with various writing papers, and other turkeylicious activities!  If you'd like to make these little guys, check out the pack in my TpT shop! :)

And that's that for today's turkey talk!  This girl is heading in for a nap.  xoxo!!
Hello everyone!  Happy Sunday!  I am currently enjoying a five day weekend... I had off on Thursday and Friday for the NJ Teacher Convention, and I have off tomorrow for Veteran's Day, too!  Sweet :)

In between sleeping and chick flicks, I found some time to finish up my next set of Sentence Builders!

Like my previous pack, this set includes three months of sentence building fun: December, January, and February!  Each month includes three themes, and each theme includes five printables!  What's new with this pack?  I've now included statements, questions, and exclamations!

December: Reindeer * Gingerbread * Christmas

January: Winter * Hot Cocoa * Snowmen

February: Groundhogs * Teeth * Valentine's Day

Your kiddos will have a blast as they read, build, write, check, and draw their way through these fun printables!  Take a look at a close-up of a Sentence Builders sheet:

This elfie builder isn't included in the pack... grab it free {HERE}!

If you want to check out the whole set-- sentence builders {printables!} december, january, february --stop by my little TpT shop!  Here is a look at everything that's included:

I hope you love this second set!!  I'd love to know what you think!

Want to win a copy?  Leave a comment with your email before 8:59pm EST!
I'll pick a winner then {just before The Walking Dead!}
Congrats #44, check your email!
Elf Magic is back!!!

Did you know it was missing?!  Long story short, after the holidays last year I was asked to deactivate this product until I could edit it {i.e. remove all traces of a certain SHELF ELF} and post it back up to TpT.  Months and months later, I finally got around to it... but just in time for the holiday season!!!

The unit is basically the same, only now I use the term "Our Classroom Elf."  Sneaky, right? ;)  Here is a little peek at the pack for any Cupcake followers who are new to elf magic {craftivities & printables}... or for those who would like a refresher!

There are elf feet!

And little elf friends!

And even littler friends!

There are tons of fun printables included, like these:

There's also an elf journal inside the pack, for a visiting classroom elf... male or female!  Your kiddos can use it daily to document little elfie's whereabouts in the classroom!

If you'd like to grab a copy of elf magic {craftivities & printables}, or if you want to get a better look at what's included, head on over to my TpT shop!

I hope you {still} love it!!!

Leave some love {and your email} for your chance to win a copy!!  I'll pick a winner before bed!
Congrats to #21, Lauren!! Sending it over now!
Temperatures are dropping, coats and boots are making first appearances, and the stores are all decked out for winter!  It might still be fall, but all signs point to winter!  To help teachers get ahead of the prepping game, the girls over at Freebielicious have teamed up with Educents to create a huuuge bundle of winter goodies:

I am very excited to be a part of the bundle with Educents!  I know you will love my contribution, reindeer games {craftivity & printables}!  Your kiddos will make a red-nosed reindeer, complete with a writing activity... and more!

There are 21 other products in our bundle to get your kids learning!  Literacy, math, science, social studies, and so much more!   Hop along to see all the goodies you will get!

The deal won't last long so head over now!
