Spring is HERE {whether the temperature agrees or not}, which means that spring themes are in full swing at school.  Right now my kiddos are tackling weather, but up next is our plant unit!  I realized I didn't have any plant related craftivities in my shop, and decided I needed to change that, ASAP!

This bright, flowery craft makes me smile… bring on the warmer temps and blooming blossoms!!  In Bloom {Craftivity & Printables} is the perfect supplement to your plant unit.  It includes a cheery flower craft, complete with five writing options, as well as seven different activities.  Lots of choices and differentiation, here!  Let's take a closer look!

The petals lift up to reveal a little activity:

There are five writing options to choose from:

"Plants Need…" prompt:
*words with pictures ready to color
*words with space to draw pictures {like above}
*no words or pictures

"Plant Facts!" prompt:
*lined petals to write
*blank petals to write/draw

You can customize the craft to suit your needs! :)

Aaand, of course, a Cupcake craftivity isn't complete without some fun printables!

There are seven activities in all, some with more than one option to choose from… I like options! ;)

If you want to grab this pack for your kiddos, or to learn more, head on over to my TpT shop!  I hope you LOVE it!!! :)
Hi everyone!  Yikes!  It's been a little while since my last post-- I promise I didn't abandon you!  I've just been *super* busy!  But, I'm here now with some pics of what I've been up to in March so far.  It's a bit of a mishmash!

This past week, we stumbled upon adjectives again.  I decided to pretty things up with a fun and colorful anchor chart {that you might have seen on my Instagram}!

Inspiration came from none other than Pinterest… but I can't find a source :(  We concluded our adjective discussion {for now} by making Reagan's Rainbow Name-bows-- always a class favorite!!  First we brainstormed as many adjectives as we could for each letter… some letters were a little bit hard!  Then we put our rainbows together… sorry, no pics of the kiddos' projects.  I think I took this exact picture last year, ha!

I am *sparkling* don't you think?? ;)

Earlier in the month, we decorated for St. Patrick's Day.  I do this little project every year; it's easy and quick, and my firsties love it!  I just noticed that the second one in from the left says, "I feel lucky because I have nineteen hamsters and a blue fish."  Nineteen?!?!

We also made some Loopy Leprechauns, courtesy of Cara Carroll.  This pic is before we added names to the hats… gotta protect my littles!

As the days crept closer and closer to the start of spring, my kiddos started to get a little antsy… a classic case of Spring Fever.  To help combat the "illness," I broke out my handy dandy Compliment Jar!  I saved this incentive idea for some point mid-year this time around, but you can certainly start it from day one!  It's available in my TpT shop if you're interested!

And that concludes this little March Mishmash!  Be sure to follow me on Insta, as it's a quick and easy way for me {and you!} to stay up-to-date when there isn't time to blog!  Have a great Sunday, friends!m :)
Hi there, Cupcakes!  I hope you had a great Monday!

Sometime last week, I uploaded the latest edition of Sentence Builders to my TpT shop.  I haven't gotten around to blogging about it… until now!

Like the two previous sets, this set includes three months of sentence building practice: March, April, and May!  Each month includes three themes, and each theme includes five printables!  And like the last pack, this one includes statements, questions, and exclamations.

Here's a little peek at this edition:

March:  St. Patrick's Day * Spring * Weather

April:  Rainy Days * Bunnies * Earth Day

May:  Flowers * Kites * Memorial Day

Your kiddos will LOVE to read, build, write, check, and draw their way through these printables!  Here is a close-up of what a Sentence Builders printable looks like:

This butterfly builder isn't included in the pack-- but you can grab it free {HERE}!

If you want to check out the whole set-- sentence builders {printables!} march, april, may --head on over to my little TpT shop!  Here is a look at everything that's included:

I hope you love the third set!

For a chance to win a copy, leave a comment with your email below!  I'll pick a winner later this evening! :)
{{ Congrats to #1, Julie! }}

But that's not all!!  If you're NEW to Sentence Builders, and you think you might want to try 'em out, I bundled all three sets!  You can grab the BUNDLED builders for September through May in one stop, for less than the cost if you bought all three separately.  Plus, I'll be adding more for the remaining months!

Have a great night! :)
