Healthy Smiles {Math & Lit Centers for Dental Health Month!}

Yesterday we had yet *another* snow day {that makes three so far}!  I am not complaining… I definitely needed the extra few hours of sleep!  The day off also gave me a chance to finish up my newest unit, Healthy Smiles {Math & Literacy Centers for Dental Health Month!}

And just in time, because February IS Dental Health Month! :)

There are three math and three literacy centers included in this toothy pack.  Each center comes with all activity cards needed, plus a few different recording options.  Take a look!

*Double Tooth Trouble*
Little ones will practice doubles facts.

*Flossing Fact Families*
Students will create related addition and subtraction facts to 20.

*Tooth Fairy Ten Frames*
Kiddos will work with ten frames, numbers 10-20.

*Check Your Chompers*
Kiddies will sort digraphs {ch, sh, th} in the beginning or at the end of words.

*Silly Smiles*
Your bunch will sort words with the long or short /I/ sound.

*Brush Up ABC Order*
Littles will work on their ABC order skills {and complete a word find, too}.

My kiddos are going to have a BLAST with these in the coming weeks!  If you're interested in grabbing this pack for your little ones, head on over to my TpT shop!  I hope you LOVE it!! :)

Pin a picture from this post and leave a comment with your email addy for a chance to win a copy!  A winner will be chosen tonight! :)
Congrats #4, Lauren E!

Looks so cute! My mom works at a dentist office so I have a special place in my heart for dental health. I had a snow day yesterday--delay today--no school tomorrow?!

I’m with you, Teri! Keeping your teeth and gums healthy is very essential for everyone's oral health. Also, they are the first thing people notice when you smile, and it would be great if you’re able to flash those perfect set of teeth every time you do so. And teaching the kids about proper oral care at a very young age is simply good practice, so that they stay cavity-free as they grow. Cheers!
